Overarching aim |
The aim of this study is to explore the needs of recent migrants from European accession countries when accessing ambulance services and to understand ways to improve this. |
Objectives |
- To conduct a systematic scoping review to establish evidence for how minority ethnic and migrant groups use healthcare services in Europe.
- To explore the experiences of patients and healthcare practitioners in Lincolnshire of local ambulance services.
- To establish a consensus among key stakeholders through an online Delphi study about how ambulance service care can meet the needs of EU Accession migrants.

Outcomes |
Through a mixed-methods approach that empowers EU13 patients, the study will produce new knowledge about, and influence change for, a seldom-heard group in a predominantly rural UK county. |
